If you’re looking for some fun activities to do over the winter months, the Parksville Lawn Bowling Club is offering some great social activities that are open to the general public.
The fall/winter schedule — which begins next Tuesday, October 13 — offers a chance to play games, meet new people and have a great social outing at a very reasonable price.
Mahjong Mondays begin at 7 p.m. Cost is just $1.00 per person per visit.
For cribbage fans, the fun gets underway on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. with a cost of $2.00 per visit. For those who love the skill and challenge of bridge, it’s Thursday at 1 p.m. for a $2.00 admission charge.
The club is located at 149 E. Stanford Ave., behind Stanford Place and across from the former Parksville Elementary School.
