Greer’s five wins scramble
The team of Robin Greer, Tom Leckie, Mike Sachowski, Rick Sillanpaa and Sid Perrot won the Penticton Senior Men’s golf 5-man scramble Oct. 5. with a minus-10 score of 60. Finishing second at 61, in a count back, were Gary Ellis, Ben Raine, Gary Napper Greg McWilliams and Bernie Bermbach.
Eibner sinks for turkey
Val Eibner scored a turkey for winning the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club Turkey Shoot Oct. 4. Eibner won with a net score of 72. There was a four-way tie for second low net with Maribel Rothfield 77, Pat Gartrell 77, Carol Mulligan 77; Anka Manders 77 and Janis Goll was sixth with 78.
