Special Olympics Kitimat is pleased to have a golf team up and running this year. The team wanted to take advantage of the beautiful golf course in our community. Members of the board worked hard to recruit a new coach and organize a schedule with the Hirsch Creek Golf and Winter Club to get our athletes out for a golf game once a week. A big thanks goes to Terry Whelan and Evan Petersen, golf coaches, and Winston Michell for helping to make this happen!
