Trojan wars
Last Saturday The Clan took third in the 2013 Trojan Wars in Prince George.
The tournament, held at D.P. Todd, featured some intense battles, including the DP Todd/Duchess Park rivalry coming to a head in the finals, which Duchess Park won.
The Clan earned their third by beating the P.G.S.S. Polars 68-58 in their final game.
Coel Crick, a member of The Clan, was chosen for the first-team all-stars.
All-star
Cole Slaney, who plays defence on the bantam Thunder was placed on the preliminary rankings for the Minor Hockey Player of the Year Award in late December.
The award goes to the B.C. minor hockey player who best exemplifies sportsmanship, leadership, hockey ability and performance and school and community participation.
