Pair of wins for Synergy

The U16 Synergy Basketball Club wrapped up its fall session on Saturday hosting the Stealth Club from Kelowna and the Red Devils Club from Kamloops.

Great team defence and balanced scoring were the keys to both wins for the Salmon Arm team.

Skating show

The Salmon Arm Skating Club will host its 55th annual Skating Show on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Shaw Centre. Admission is by donation.

Sign up for the Loppet

Online registration for the 33rd annual Reino Keski-Salmi Loppet will open on Dec. 12,  and will close Jan. 12, 2017. The event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 14. As usual, a complementary hot après ski lunch will be served on the hill followed by activities at the SASCU Recreation Centre.

Free holiday skate

The annual Tim Hortons free Holiday Skate will take place at Hucul Pond on Sunday, Dec. 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. Hot drinks and treats will be available.
