SCRG SUMMER CAMP

South Cariboo Rhythmic Gymnastics will be offering its inaugural summer camp for all ages and genders at the Bethel Chapel gymnasium Aug. 23-26, with different times for different ages.

This will be an opportunity to learn about rhythmic gymnastics, have fun with friends, and a start of new sport for life.

WRANGLERS MAIN CAMP

100 Mile House Wranglers Junior B Hockey Club, is holding its Main Camp at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre on Sept. 1-4.

The 2016 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, British Columbia and Western Canada champions will be building on their last season’s success.

Registration for main camp is at 1 p.m. on Sept. 1.

Two days of on-ice instruction and evaluation will be followed by two exhibition games against the Port Moody Panthers of the Pacific Junior Hockey League at the South Cariboo Rec., Centre.

the first game is on Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. and the second is on Sept. 4 at 1 p.m.

The Wranglers then travel to Lumby to take on the Revelstoke Grizzlies on Sept. 6, with the puck dropping at 7 p.m.

LEGION GOLF TOURNEY

100 Mile Legion’s annual Golf Tournament & Steak Barbecue will be held at Marmot Ridge Golf Course on Sept. 10, with a shotgun start.

Registration is $35 per person and includes green fees, putting contest and steak barbecue (dinner only $15). Register at the Legion 933 Alder St. For more information, call 250-395-2511.

TIME TO REGISTER

South Cariboo Rhythmic Gymnastics is holding registration for the 2016/17 season for classes starting on Sept. 12.

Registration is at the Bethel Chapel gymnasium at 550 Exeter Truck Route on Sept. 7, noon-4 p.m. and Sept. 8, 4-6 p.m. For information, call Sang-Hee at 250-791-5538 (scrhythmicgym@shaw.ca) or Nathania at 250-396-2006 (nathaniamh@gmail.com).

WRANGLERS SEASON TICKETS

Season tickets for the 100 Mile House Wranglers Junior B hockey club games have gone on sale.

Adult regular season tickets are $241.50 each, while students and seniors regular season tickets go for $183.75.

Folks will want to purchase their tickets early for the best seats to watch the defending Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, Cyclone Taylor Cup and Keystone Cup champions in action this season.

CO-ED DROP-IN SOCCER

The 100 Mile Adult Soccer group will be hosting co-ed drop-in soccer every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the 100 Mile soccer fields.

All skill levels are welcome and cleats and shin guard are not required but they are encouraged. Drop-in rates are $5 per game or $35 for the season.
