WRANGLERS CHASING HEAT

The 100 Mile House Wranglers will be playing the Chase Heat at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre on Dec. 29, with puck dropping at 7 p.m.

Then they will travel to Chase to go head-to-head on Dec. 30.

On Jan. 2, the Wranglers will be host the Revelstoke Grizzlies for an afternoon tilt. The puck drops at 2 p.m.

FANS NEEDED FOR ROAD TRIP

Wranglers fans are being invited to climb aboard the Fan Bus to travel to Kamloops on Jan. 8 to cheer on the 100 Mile House lads who will be taking on the Storm.

The Fan Bus will be leaving at 1 p.m. for the 5 p.m. puck drop. There are 40 seats (17 seats booked already). The cost is $35 per person and it includes admission to the game.

The trip will be cancelled if the seats aren’t booked by Jan. 2. Call Don at 250-644-3420.

MIDGET REPS SELLING SANDBAGS

The 100 Mile House Midget Rep team is selling sandbags at $4 each. The money raised from the fundraiser will be allocated to covering travel and accommodation expenses to attend the 2017 Tier 4 Midget Rep Provincial Championships. To purchase sandbags, contact Andrea Flett at 250-791-5333.

IIHF WORLD JUNIOR HOCKEY COMING TO B.C.

The world’s best Junior-aged players will be skating for gold on British Columbia ice at the 2019 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Junior Championship.

BC Hockey and the cities of Vancouver and Victoria, in partnership with Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announce last week that the IIHF World Junior Championship will be co-hosted in Vancouver and Victoria.
