PEEWEE REPS GETTING BETTER
The 100 Mile House Peewee Rep Milers have a 0-3-1 record in the Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association in the first four games of the season, but they get better with every outing against teams from larger centres.
The squad tends to get off to a great start, struggles a bit and charges back in the third.
It won’t be long before it notches its first win.
WRANGLERS HAVE DATE WITH STORM
Hometown fans will get another taste of the heated rivalry between the 100 Mile House Wranglers and Kamloops when the Storm rolls into 100 Mile for a Friday (Oct. 21) tilt.
The Storm, which has been at or near the top of the Doug Birks Division has been struggling early this season.
However, they will be dangerous because, like every team in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League team, they will want to knock off the defending Western Canada champs.
Puck drops at 7 p.m.
