The 2016 Western Lacrosse Association season may be months away yet, but the Victoria Shamrocks are busy making moves.
The club announced a change in the front office this week, with former Westshore Rebels football club communications man Jason Sperling taking over the position of operations manager for the lacrosse team.
“I am excited to be joining the Shamrocks Senior A Lacrosse club, and their quest to bring another Mann Cup to Victoria,” Sperling said.
He voiced hope to help continue to increase community involvement with the team and further enhance the game day atmosphere the organization has created.
Sperling will run the office on Langford Parkway among other duties. His first official announcement was that the club has begun selling season ticket packages for the 2016 season.
