The South Okanagan Flames lost 8-5 to the Kelowna Raiders in Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League action Monday at Memorial Arena.

The South Okanagan Flames lost 8-5 to the Kelowna Raiders in Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League action Monday at Memorial Arena. Midget call up Jean-Luc Chetner led the Flames with two goals and added an assist. Derek Grimm, Jacob Hollenbeck and Rylund Johnson also scored. On Saturday, the Flames defeated the Kamloops Rattlers 9-7 at Memorial Arena. Brad Deshane scored a hat trick. The Flames travel to Vernon on June 4 and play their next home game June 6 against the Rattlers. The Flames have now won three games and lost four and sit third in the league with six points.

Pinnacles remain perfect

Penticton Tim Horton’s Pinnacles under-21 soccer team defeated the West Vancouver FC in Pacific Coast Soccer League action 4-2. Dan Hunt scored three, while Matt Reece added the other.
