Alf Vaagen won the first flight in Summerland Senior Men’s action on July 28 shooting a 67. Following Vaagen as Jim Haddrell also at 67 then Bob Fortune at 71. Winning the second flight was Bob Karaim shooting 67, followed by Stew Macaulay at 70 and Andrew Webster at 71. Third flight winner was Taylor George who shot a 73 and Moe Fillion won the fourth flight shooting 71.

Twin Lakes Golf

Grant Oben shot a 39 in nine-hole men’s night action at Twin Lakes Golf on July 28. Brandon Legault fired a 41 which was good for the second low gross, while Tom Livingston scored 34.5 for the low net and Glen Jolliffe shot a 36. Ken Carr was the second low gross winner shooting 42.

Slo pitch action

In Penticton Men’s Slopitch action, TDA defeated the Gutter Done Right Titans 20-15. TDA had homeruns from Doug Goodwin, Neil Dasanjh and Carl Walton, while Mark Ploner had two homeruns in a losing cause. Doug Goodwin and Jay Carey shared the pitching win.

Gutter Done Right Titans then bounced back to thump the Skaha Meadows Pitbulls 23-13.
