Biking

Yeah Girl/Yeah Boi! all inclusive enduro ride is a 20K mountain bike ride Sept. 16 at Spring Creek, organized by TORCA. See the website or Facebook for more.

Ringette

Come Try Ringette is Sept. 17 and registration is open for the club’s regular season. To register email terraceringette@hotmail.com.

Running

The Terry Fox Run is 12:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at the George Little House. Pledge forms and more info is available at the Sportsplex at 250-615-3000.

The King of the Mountain trail run is set for Sunday, Sept. 24. Runners start at the Terrace sportsplex at 9:30 a.m. and run a loop on Terrace Mountain. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and pre-registration is available online. For more info, call Simone at 250-615-9159, or Kristine at 250-922-5229 of go to the Facebook event called 40th Annual King of the Mountain Trail Run.

Hockey

Registration is open for Terrace women’s hockey until Sept. 28. The team plays Sunday and Thursday evenings and for more information contact Tia at 250-635-0515 or Vida at 250-635-4404 or vidacarson@northsave.com.

The Terrace River Kings play their first home game Oct. 7 at the Terrace Sportsplex. They play Quesnel and the game starts at 7 p.m.

Badminton

Drop in badminton starts Oct. 3 at the the old Thornhill Junior Secondary building (now Northwest Trades and Employment Training Centre). The drop in will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 10 p.m. and will continue through to mid-April.

Skating

Terrace Skating Club opened registration for CAN SKATE learn to skate lessons for ages 3 to 12 years olds. Lessons start Ocotber 10 and registration is online at www.terraceskatingclub.com.
