Clearwater Hockey School will return to the North Thompson Sportsplex Aug. 27 to Sept. 1.

This season the hockey school again is offering an Introduction to Hockey program for only $50. This includes all your equipment and skates, six ice sessions, and off-ice sports every day. The school is open to both boys and girls.

For parents who are considering registering their child in Minor Hockey for the first time it gives beginning players a good start on the season.

Youth sports are intended to provide an enjoyable experience for children to learn the skills and play the game while stressing the importance of fun, friendship and fitness.

Hockey teaches children responsibility, co-operation, commitment, sportsmanship, leadership, integrity and respect for yourself, teammates and opponents, skills that will help them in all areas of their life. It is an excellent form of exercise and helps to form bonds of friendship that will last a lifetime.

Sports create a healthy environment for children. Think about where you child will be in 20 years and how these skills will help them be successful in life.
