Some of the province’s top squash players were on the court this weekend at the Nelson Squash Club’s Fall Classic.
The tournament featured 42 professional players playing in front of a packed crowd. Vernon’s Tyler Perrault defeated Nelson’s Rebecca Vassilakakis 3-0 to win the men’s A final, while Steve Limbert downed fellow Trail native Kevin Limbert 3-0 in the 3-4 match.
On the women’s side, Revelstoke’s Julia Dorrius clinched the ladies final with a 3-0 victory over her sister Sophie. Nelson’s Lindsay Hewson meanwhile beat Nelson’s Anne Bokser 3-1 to finish third.
