Former Vancouver Stealth head coach Chris Hall has been voted into the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame.
Hall, who stepped down after the 2014 season because of health concerns, was announced as one of the two nominees to gain induction on Wednesday (July 9).
Also voted in was former player Pat Coyle. They become the 22nd and 23rd members of the Hall.
Hall received votes on 77 per cent of the overall ballots, which were cast by teams, current members of the NLL Hall of Fame and senior members of the media covering the league.
To gain induction, a nominee must be selected on a minimum of 75 per cent of the overall ballots cast or 75 per cent of ballots cast by Hall of Fame members.
Hall coached for 12 years in the league, winning two Champion’s Cup NLL titles. The first was in 2004 with Calgary and the second was with the Stealth in 2010 and he is just one of two coaches to win titles with different franchises.
He ranks third all-time with 85 regular season victories and his 11 post-season wins are fourth.
Hall is still with the Stealth, now serving as a senior advisor to president Doug Locker.
