Stevens lowest after 18 holes

Dozens tee off for 108 Men's Club rounds at 108 Golf Resort

Chris Stevens (76) shot lowest gross amongst the 54 Men’s Club golfers at the 108 Golf Resort on June 24.

Bill Baerg (77) and Matt McNeil (77) fired second lowest gross scores after 18 holes. Lowest net in the first flight belonged to Eric Ohlund (65), followed by Theo Weiring (66) and Al Sidor (69).

In the second flight, Karam Parsad (79) shot low gross, followed by Rick Lunsted (81) and James Seeley (82). Lowest net in the second flight was Jamie Crellin (67), followed by Dennis Thompson (68) and Jim French (71).

The third flight saw Kyle Macmillan (80) shoot lowest gross, with Miles Bucknell (82) in second and Spence Henderson (84) third. Larry McKave (66), Dan McCafferty (67) and Ken Brennan (68) were the lowest net shooters.

In the fourth flight, Ron Tots (92), Ken Waite (93) and Wayne Kidwell (94) were the golfers with lowest gross. Terry Barrick (67), Peter Messner (70) and John Mix (71) fired lowest net.

Jamie Crellin on No. 8, and Bill Stokes and Kidwell on No. 12, shot closest to the pin in their respective flights.

McNeil and Rick Lunsted on No. 11, and Macmillan and Carson Walker on No. 7, pumped the longest drives.

Ohlund, Bucknell and Larry Pinkney sunk the long putts on No. 18, while Harvey Knapp made the long putt on No. 2.

Deuces went to Sidor, John Kuharski and Jeff Kendy in the first flight; James Seeley in the second; Bucknell and Stokes in the third; and Messner in the fourth flight.

The 108 Men’s Club saw 64 golfers going for low scores, long drives and closest to the pin strokes at the 108 Golf Resort on June 17.

Bill Harris (36) shot lowest gross in the first flight, with Stevens (37) one stroke behind. Baerg (33) fired low net, followed by Jay Scott (34).

In the second flight, Greg Aiken (40) and Brian Coldwell (40) score low gross. Seeley (33) and Merle Ross (33) tied for low net.

French (42) scored low gross in third flight, followed by Laurie Miclash (43). Duane Ney (32) fired low net, followed by Dan McCafferty (34).

The fourth flight saw Gary Desjardine (43) score lowest gross, followed by Kidwell (47). Vern Bell (32) and Al Smeds (35) were the golfers with lowest net scores in the fourth flight.

Tyler Williams and Bob Wieduwilt shot closest to the pin in their respective flights on No. 9. Met Boyson and Bell fired closest to the pin in their flights on No. 7.

On No. 1, Baerg, Coldwell, Ney and Bell cranked the longest drives in their flights.

On June 10, 63 golfers went for low gross, low net, closest to the pin and long drives.

Lee Hansen (34) fired lowest gross in the first flight, followed by Stevens (36). John McNeil (33) was the lowest net shooter, followed by Marty McClusky (37).

Dean McNeil (40) and Mike Ricketts (40) tied for low gross in the second flight. Rick Lunsted (33) was the lowest net shooter in the second flight followed by Keith Pearson (35).

The third flight saw Dan Hadden (41) shoot low gross, with Bucknell (43) second. Miclash (34) fired low net in the third flight, followed by Arnie Tanner (35).

Duane Ney (43) scored lowest gross and Desjardine (45) was second in the fourth flight. Tony Lidstone (31) shot lowest net, followed by Terry Barrick (35).

Hansen and John Kuharski put the ball closest to the pin on No. 10. Coldwell and Messner shot closest on No. 12.

Shane Wilkie and Dean McNeil hit the longest drives in their respective flights on No. 17. Jack Rausch and Barrick cranked the big ones on No. 16.

Deuces went to McNeil and Stevens in the first flight; Coldwell and Marvin Declare in the third; Bell and Desjardine in the fourth.
