The goals came early and often for the Sting in the Comox Valley Sports & Social Club’s floor hockey final, turning the game into a display of offensive firepower that their opponent couldn’t match.

The result was a 15-5 victory over the upstart Shockers and a second straight local floor hockey title for captain Matt Ceron and his Sting team. The fall league had eight teams.

Third place went to the EDS Trashers, who managed a 12-8 victory over the Puck-offs. The Fourth Liners snared a 14-8 win over Shut Your Five-Hole to secure fifth spot, while the Jets won 13-3 over Balls Out for seventh spot.
