The Southridge Storm senior boys basketball team kept its perfect league record alive Tuesday after a 78-38 victory over Surrey Christian.
The Storm are now 3-0 in league play, and 10-5 overall; they are ranked third in the latest B.C. double-A rankings.
Southridge now prepares for a battle of unbeaten teams next week – they take on Delview – the only other squad without a loss – Jan. 26.
Against Surrey Christian, Southridge played the game without key scorer Jacob Andreou, who sat out due to a lower-body injury. Shahbaj Dhillon led the way with 28 points, 15 rebounds and five blocked shots, while Jonathan Yu had eight points, six boards and seven steals. Royce Holmes, chipped in with 11 points.
