The Kelowna Chiefs are facing a busy stretch of hockey to begin November as they prepare to play their next seven KIJHL games in a 10-day span.
The Chiefs will visit Summerland Friday, then host Kamloops on Saturday, before wrapping up a three-game weekend Sunday in Sicamous.
Kelowna will play four more times between Nov. 11 and 15, with three of those on home ice.
The Chiefs have built up some momentum heading into the demanding stretch with four straight wins.
On Friday at home, Kelowna downed the Beaver Valley Nitehawks 4-2. Josh Tetlichi stopped 39 shots in the Chiefs net while Luke Kaleniuk paced the offence with a goal and an assist.
On Saturday, Kelowna took care of the Nelson Leafs 6-3 top extend its unbeaten streak to eight (6-0-2) games.
Captain Ryan Lawson had his best game of the season with two goals and two assists, while Josh Baird (2-1) and Jonathan Lee (1-2) chipped in with three points each.
Brady Lenardon stopped 27 shots for Kelowna now 9-3-2-2 on the season and in second place in the Okanagan Division.
Game time Saturday at Rutland between the Chiefs and Kamloops is 7 p.m.
