Langley is well represented on the Fraser Valley Rush with five of the 20 players on the female midget AAA hockey club from here.
Goaltender Jordyn Verbeek, defenceman Sara Swiderski and forwards Halle Berwick, Jessica Douglas and Jessica Pasqua representing Langley.
The Rush play in the Female Midget BC AAA League alongside the Greater Vancouver Comets, Northern Capitals, Thompson Okanagan Lakers and the Vancouver Island Seals.
And in the BC Major Midget Hockey League, another six Langley teens are suiting up for the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
Alex Rolfe is one of the Thunderbirds goaltenders, while Dylan Anderson and Matthew Tyszka will patrol the blue-line.
And up front, Carter Anderson, Carter Preston and Jacob Wright will help lead the forwards.
