Success for Lakes District Secondary School at zone championships

Lakes District Secondary School (LDSS) snowboarding team attended the Zone Championships in Prince George from Feb. 5 to 7 2012.

A total of 22 LDSS students attended.

The  boys  team finished in first place and the girls snowboarding  team took second place.

Individually, LDSS students, Andre Dube and Elise Dube both finished in second place.

Nine schools attended the competition including Prince George, McBride, Mackenzie, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James and Smithers. Both Andre and Elise Dube, who placed at the zones will now head to Whistler to compete in the provincials, which are held from Feb. 24 to March 2, 2012.
