Two members of the Delta Sungod Swim Club won medals at the Langley Olympians Short Course Invitational.
The meet featured close to 400 swimmers from across the Lower Mainland, as well as Kamloops and Vancouver Island.
Aaron Zhu, 10, won a bronze medal in his 50m freestyle race, while Connor Warkentin, 17, took the bronze in the 200m breast stroke. Warkentin also reached the final in the 100m breast stroke, placing fifth.
The two swimmers were among 13 from the Sungod group to reach finals in their respective age groups.
Other swimmers in the top eight were Cayden Dececco, 12, (fourth 200m freestyle, fifth 50m and 100m freestyle, sixth 400m freestyle, seventh 200m back stroke, eighth 100m back stroke), Alix Main, 16, (fourth 100m breast stroke, fifth 200m breast stroke and 50m freestyle), Hector Rodriguez Hernandez (fifth 100m back stroke and 50m freestyle, eighth 200m back stroke), Albert Yu, 12, fifth 100m and 200m breast stroke), Noah Landry, 13, (fifth 100m butterfly, eighth 200m butterfly), Harbir Grewal, 9, sixth 100m breast stroke, seventh 100m freestyle and 100m back stroke, eighth 200m freestyle), Michael Milic, 15, (sixth 200m back stroke, seventh 100m breast stroke), Caralyn Vossen, 16, (seventh 100m breast stroke), Claudia Baxter (seventh 100m breast stroke), Elena Penner, 13, (seventh 100m freestyle), Hailey Penner, 11 (eighth 200m butterfly).
