Super League curlers battle for the last three playoff berths.

Super League teams continued to fight for playoff spots last week, with the bottom three berths still in flux.

DLE and Karin’s faced off in a close battle, finishing with DLE one point up at 7-6.

In the feature match of the night, Karin’s Deli got off to a quick start, but the Kubota boys fought hard to come back to squeak out the victory in the final end.

CDC fought to keep the top spot in their match against Ski Hi Scaffolding, with CDC staying on top by taking the game 7-5.

Like children heading out to the playground at noon-hour, the CDC squad took to the ice. Shot by shot, CDC managed to force Ski Hi into precarious positions, resulting in the win.

Investors took an easy win, doubling Frank’s, 6-3.

The not–so–fabulous baker less boys from Frank’s were no match for the fully loaded Investors Group. A good time was had by all, even the losers for obvious reasons.

Billy Barker took down JAR Transportation 9-7 on sheet ‘D’.

Willis Harper took the lead against A&W, sliding to a 7-5 win.

Albert and Walter should have stayed in the kitchen because the curling ice was too cold for them. Willis Harper swooped out to a lead and never looked back. With a three point lead coming home, there was no doubt who had the hardware.

Three teams have secured placements in the playoffs.

The Child Development Centre is sitting on top, with Douglas Lake Equipment in second and Billy Barker in third.

Meanwhile, the bottom half of the six team playoff berths are hotly contended for between: A&W and Willis Harper, each with an 8-7 record; and Investors Group and Frank’s, with a 7-8 record.
