Super League Curling

Onwards and upwards as the playoffs continue.

Plots and efforts continued last Wednesday as curlers searched themselves and dredged up energy from the depths of their souls in an effort to attain Super League greatness.

In the A playoffs, Sky Hi struck down the Investors Group from on high, winning 6-3.

Billy Barker and A&W, the two top teams going into the playoffs, strove to show their mettle.

In a back and forth game, it was realized in the last end that the A&W squad should stick to flipping burgers after a 5-7 loss.

At the other end of the spectrum, starting the B playoffs at the bottom, Willis Harper and Quesnel Golf played a close game.

There were no fans and they missed a cliff hanger, as the Golfers cleaned the greens for a lonely 7-6 Willis Harper victory.

CDC ran roughshod over an unready Karin’s Deli, 8-3.

The playoff action continues tonight.
