KISU swim club member Riley Wall has made the Canadian national youth relay team.
Wall is among six to 16-year-old males in Canada that will compete internationally.
As part of this selection, he has been invited to attend a training camp and a swim meet in Bermuda in May.
“It means a lot,” said Wall. “It’s a really big honour to represent our country in Bermuda.”
Wall was selected based on his time standard in the 100 metre and 200-m freestyle swims. He said it’s the biggest accomplishment in his swimming career.
KISU also had Tina Hoeben selected to coach the men’s team.
“It is a huge honour to go as the coach. I will learn a lot from the experience,” said Hoeben.
“It is a great opportunity to work with Canada’s Youth/Junior coach and some of the best young swimmers in our country.”
