Area carpet bowlers have done it again!

held in Prince George.  Ernie Yungen Skip, Hector Denton 3rd, Louis Zijderveld 2nd and Anke Zijderveld lead, beat out seven other competing teams.

They did us proud!

Port Alberni placed second in the tourney, and one of the Prince George teams won third.

The Kamloops team of Maria, Betty and Inez, who were also representing Zone 2 played exceptionally well, missing gold by just one point.

Ernie Yungen and Hector Denton just missed beating out Port Alberni for gold in the pairs to bring home silver, with Courtenay taking the bronze.

It was a good week hosted by Prince George with teams from Houston, Telkwa, Granisle, Kamloops, Barriere, Little Fort, Interlakes, Port Alberni, Courtenay, and four teams from Prince George competing at the provincials.
