Team B.C. strikes national lacrosse silver

A pair of North Okanagan minor lacrosse products helped Team B.C. claim silver at the Bantam female nationals in Halifax.

Shelby Connors of Coldstream and Amy Fox of Armstrong were among 20 elite players that propelled B.C. to a 5-1 round-robin record. They fell 5-2 to Ontario in the gold-medal game.

Before the tournament, the Team B.C. was able to visit Peggy’s Cove, take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy a lobster feast to complete their Maritime experience.
