Team battles in Clearwater

The hockey team won three out of their four games.

The 100 Mile novice team played well in the Clearwater tournament this weekend, winning three out of four games.

Game 1

The first game on Saturday, the team played against the Clearwater and won 6-5. Evan Carmont was the 100 Mile goalie and was very flexible on his skates. He was all over the net.

James Michel scored the first goal, assisted by Sean Moore.

Sean Moore got a hat trick and Emerson Hooper got two goals with one assist by Toran Todd and Sean Moore. Sean Moore was selected the MVP for the first game.

 

Game 2

The second game on Saturday, the team played the Red Dragons from Kamloops.

The 100 Mile team won 9-1.

Ryler Hooper scored two!

Toran Todd scored in the second period.

Tyler McCausland got a nice pass from Sean Moore and scored.

James Michel was selected the MVP for the second game.

 

Game 3

The third game was on Sunday morning and the team lost to the Williams Lake Warriors 4-2.

James Michel scored. Sarah Tinney was digging for the puck in front of the net and managed to pop it in.

Sarah Tinney selected the MVP for this game.

Evan Carmont was in net.

 

Game 4

The fourth game on Sunday was the last game they had. The 100 Mile team played against the Chase Thunder. They won 7-2 and Toran Todd scored.

Mackenzie Fast was selected MVP.

Mathew Bridal was in net and played incredibly well.

James Michel scored off a nice pass from Sarah Tinney in the second period.

Ryler Hooper scored off a pass from Toran Todd.

Sean Moore scored with an assist by Jackson Sutton.

Noan Bissat scored with help from Evan Carmont.

Evan scored assisted by Sean Moore.

Emerson scored with an assist from Tyler McCausland.

There was a lot of passing in this game, which the coaches were happy to see.

 

All in all the kids had a lot of fun and the games were very enjoyable to watch!
