The ice is in and the boards — beautifully decorated by Telkwa Elementary students — are up. Now it is time to celebrate.
The grand opening for Telkwa’s Joseph Dockrill Rink will be held on Feb. 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A hockey game, public skate, kids games and prizes are all part of the festivities. Smokies will keep skaters fuelled and hot chocolate will keep them warm.
