THE NORTHWEST zone BC Seniors Games athletes brought home 46 medals from the four day event in Kamloops late last week and last weekend.
Terrace athletes earned 33 of those medals and below is a list of their results from the seniors games website.
Trudy Rafuse won bronze in cycling women 55-59 time trial competitive and bronze in cycling women 55-59 road race competitive.
Ann Kantakis won silver in cycling women 65-69 time trial competitive.
Fernand Gagnon won gold in track and field men 90+ 5,000m power walk, gold in men 90+ shot put and gold in men 90+ discus.
Donna Graf won silver in women 65-69 pentathlon, gold in pole vault, bronze in 100m and bronze in long jump.
Maxine Smallwood won silver in women 80-84 pentathlon, silver in hammer throw, silver in shot put, silver in javelin and bronze in discus.
Bud Hallock won bronze in horseshoes men 65+ class D 15%-24.9%.
JeanPaul Bourgoin won silver in horseshoes men 65+ class A 45% and over.
Marielle Mercure won bronze in horseshoes women 65+ class 0%-14.9%.
In team sports, Jeannette Siemens and Jack Beck won bronze in cribbage flight B 55+ pairs,
Jean Thomson and Frank Ackerman won gold in whist flight C 55+ pairs and bronze in whist overall pairs.
Al Annett won silver in five pin bowling men A division 55+ high single scratch, and gold in high singles POA.
Bob Price won silver in five pin bowling men A division 55+ first six games POA.
Lynne Apolczer won bronze in five pin women B division 55+ high single scratch.
Chris Olson won gold in five pin bowling women B division 55+ first six games POA and silver in high singles POA.
Lorraine Johnston won gold in golf women 60-64, 24.4 to 40.4 index.
Barry Colley won bronze in golf men 65-69 low gross B.
Jim Lynch won bronze in golf men 70-74 low gross B.
Doug Mumford won gold in golf men 75-79 low gross B.
Lillian Farkvam won bronze in golf women 70-74 low gross B.
And in team sports, Terrace’s five pin bowling squad won silver in men and women B division 55+ team and their names are Chris Olson, Ken Rutsatz, Alfreda Price, Roy Armagost, Lynne Apolczer.
The 2014 BC Seniors Games are set for Sept. 9 to 13 in Langley.
