Test of talent

The University of the Fraser Valley men’s basketball team is running an Identification Camp  April 23 at the Envision Athletic Centre in Abbotsford.

The camp is open to the public for any potential student-athlete interested in playing post-secondary basketball, running from 1 to 4 p.m.

The cost is $25 per athlete and only those who are serious about competing at a post-secondary level should attend. Bring a reversible jersey, or at minimum a light and a dark shirt.

— The University of the Fraser Valley men’s basketball team and coach Kyle Graves are running a Junior Cascades Skill Development Team this spring.

There will be an open gym/parent meeting on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Sardis secondary school.

The program will run from April to July,  available to all players going into Grades 7-12 next year.

The program will focus on developing physical and mental skills to produce a more  complete high school player.
