The Burns Lake ball hockey league is officially up and running. A large number of avid hockey players turned up for the junior and senior ball hockey league opening night games at the Tom Forsyth Memorial Arena last week. Mixed teams will compete against each other and playoff games will be held later in the season. The senior league consists of mixed teams aged 16 and up while the junior league is for players from nine to 15 years of age. The league plays on Monday and Wednesday nights.
