The Campbell River Storm wrapped up the most successful season in their history on Sunday with their annual awards night held at Rod Brind’Amour Arena. Among the winners were (left to right):  Trevor Bottomley for Best Defenseman and Jason Gow Memorial (fan favourite), Colin Blake for Best Forward, Dane Feeney for The 3 Star Award, Jordan Rauser for Community Commitment and Toughest Piece of Meat Award, Kobe Oishi for the Captain’s Award, Gage Colpron for Highest Scorer and Most Valuable Player, Gavin Rauser for Bill Walker Memorial (unsung hero), Tyler Welsh for Trainer’s Award and Rookie of the Year, Brendan Enns for the Coach’s Award, and Riley Welyk for Most Improved Player. Welyk and Welsh were co-winners of the team’s academic award, while defenseman Nathan Browne (not pictured) won the Best All Round Player Award.
