Carpet bowlers enjoyed some competitive and fun games during the Lois Donchi Memorial Carpet Bowling Tournament

Carpet bowlers enjoyed some competitive and fun games during the Lois Donchi Memorial Carpet Bowling Tournament held in Barriere on Oct. 29 at the Fall Fair Hall.   Pictured is Ted Fowler of Little Fort (dark vest), and Bernard Donchi (Barriere) in some deep discussion about who scored on the play.   The players all reported a very fun afternoon, sharing a tasty lunch, plenty of goodies for the sweet tooth, and active competition. Teams were made up with a mix of the different areas attending from Barriere, Clearwater, Little Fort, Interlakes, and Kamloops. Winners of the Tournament were:  Donna Smith (Barriere), Lia Fowler (Little Fort), Tina Haring (Clearwater), and Betty Smidly (Kamloops).
