Seven players from Kelowna helped the Thompson Okanagan Football Club capture the B.C. Soccer Premier League Cup in the boys U17 division.
TOFC edged Mountain United FC 2-1 in the final last Saturday at Hjorth Park in Surrey.
Malcolm Wiens and Bjorn Borren from Penticton scored the goals, while Kelowna’s Carl Vandekraats was in net for the win.
Other Kelowna players on TOFC are Evan Scholes, Kamen Wimbledon, Gurkamal Kaloty, Bill Yeomans, Matt Barcelona and Andres Merinero.
