Thulin sets pace at Storey Creek

Nine-hole 38 good for low gross win in weekly Men's Night play

Dean Thulin’s nine-hole round of 38 led the way in last week’s Men’s Night play at Storey Creek Golf and Country Club.

Bruno Catroppa shot a 39 to win the second flight low gross and Bob Price won the inaugural third flight low gross with a 45.

Rob Jones won first flight low net with a 34.5, with Tim Baird winning low net second flight and Doug Ellis wins low net in the third flight. Coast Discovery Inn won the team game with Hogie McCrae, Lawrence Renaud, Doug Ellis and Ronnie Chickite. The Eagle 97.3 FM Radio placed second and Shoppers Drug Mart came in third.

Closest-to-the-pin awards went to Kevin Onclin (No. 7) and Chris Johnson (No. 5). Long drive title were won by Chris Roper on No. 8 and Brock Thomson on No. 4.
