The list of sale items for the Mt. Timothy Ski Society Auction and Dinner is growing and is expected to reach 100 by the day of the event (Feb. 5).
This major fundraiser for the local
ski hill takes place in the Valley Room at The Lodge in 100
Mile House with auctioneer Stuart McFadden.
Among the items set to cross the block are lift tickets for Whitewater Resort in Nelson and another set for Marmot Basin Resort in Jasper. Accommodations for two nights at Cagily Lodge at Sun Peaks and one night at Heffley Inn, also at Sun Peaks are also on the list.
“We have just about one of everything,” says Leslie Tassel at the Mt. Timothy administration office.
She expects things to move quickly on auction night.
“We’re always finished by at least 10 o’clock because people want to hit the slopes the next day.”
Dinner will be catered by B.J.’s Donuts & Eatery, and $22 tickets for the event are available at 100 Mile Gear Garage, Guest Services at Mt. Timothy or call Tassel at 250-395-3772. The deadline to purchase tickets is Feb. 2.
