Elite cycling team based in Penticton has its spring camp

Top cyclists — The Okanagan’s elite road bicycle racing team, Rideokanagan.com held its spring team camp this last weekend in Penticton.  The 10-rider team, which is based in Penticton, is in its second year of operation and will compete in the major stage and one-day road bicycle races throughout the Pacific Northwest and western Canada.

The 10-rider team, which is based in Penticton, is in its second year of operation and will compete in the major stage and one-day road bicycle races throughout the Pacific Northwest and western Canada.

The Okanagan’s elite road bicycle racing team, Rideokanagan.com held its spring team camp  in Penticton. Team members will be living and training in the Penticton area this spring and summer.  Rideokanagan.com is committed to developing competitive road and BMX cycling in the Okanagan and promoting the Okanagan as a cycling destination.

Rideokanagan.com is sponsored by local businesses including the Bike Barn, Ramada Penticton, Windward Software, the Penticton Western News, Painted Rock Estate Winery, Food and Wine Trails Magazine, Penticton Toyota and is supported by Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association.  BMX sponsors include Eurosport Autohaus.  Road bicycles are provided by Felt and BMX bikes are provided by Yess.
