The Shuswap Outlaws Midget Lacrosse team finished their regular league season this weekend with a game against the North Okanagan Legends in Armstrong. After going down 2-0 early in the first period, Wyatt Stevens scored three consecutive goals for Shuswap to give them a lead. Adam New, Paul Beevor-Potts and Austin Pugh added insurance goals as the Outlaws came all the way back to finish with a 7-3 victory. The win left the Outlaws with a spotless 12-0 record in the Thompson Okanagan Lacrosse League this season. The league playdown tournament is next weekend in Penticton.
The team will also face the Penticton Heat in a best-of-three series to determine which team will qualify to represent the zone at the provincial tournament in Port Coquitlam July 11-15.
