Two tacklers have a tough time bringing down a determined Brad Surbey of Maple Ridge during selects rugby action at Thomas Haney secondary on Sunday. He was chosen to play for the Fraser Valley Central under-18 team, along with locals Miller Thind, Damien Wilson, Ty Roberts and Donovan McNee. They lost an exhibition game 26-24 to Fraser Valley East, but are getting ready for a provincial championship next month.
