A common sight in Tuesday’s 10-3 win over the Salmon Arm Silverbacks was Luke Santerno getting congratulations from his teammates on the bench for potting a goal. Santerno made four such trips as he netted four goals in Trail’s best offensive output in almost two years. The last time Trail potted 10 goals was in a 10-4 win over Victoria at the Cominco Arena on Nov. 14, 2014. Santerno and Kale Howarth, with a goal and four assists, each collected five points in the rout. Trail has little time to celebrate the big win as they return to the ice tonight to face the defending Canadian champion West Kelowna Warriors at 7 p.m. at the Cominco Arena.
