A strong second half helped the Robert Bateman Timberwolves run wild over the Langley Saints.
The AA senior varsity foes squared off on Oct. 26 at McLeod Park with the Abbotsford visitors turning a close game at the half into a one-sided rout.
Late in the first half, trailing 7-0, the Saints were a few yards from the Bateman end zone, but fumbled the ball away. And the Timberwolves made Langley pay for the mistake, driving the ball all the way down the field for the touchdown and a two-score lead at the half.
The loss dropped Langley to 1-3 heading into the regular season finale on Nov. 2 against Pitt Meadows (2-2).
