The North Surrey Lions placed first at the 44th annual Bronze Boot tournament, blanking three opponents while winning all three games.
Playing on their home field at Bear Creek Park, the Lions topped the New Westminister Hyacks 12-0, Chilliwack Giants 22-0 and the North Surrey T-Birds 12-0.
The defense was led by Andrew Knox, who had several big stops, and Jovyn Sangha, who made a tackle in the final minutes of the game with the T-Birds to help keep the Lions defense perfect.
Michael Jenkins, Myles McPherson, Kieran Pama and Davin Reithaug were the offensive leaders.
Keyshawn Beswick and Myles McPherson scored three touchdowns each, and Youseff Saad Sheta scored one major and four converts.
