Despite two spirited performances by the U17 Haisla Girls basketball team at the 2018 Junior All-Native Basketball Tournament, they return home empty-handed.
In their first game, placed in the A-draw in the second round of the tournament, the Haisla Girls lost 66-39 against Syilx at Vancouver Technical Secondary School. In their second game, they lost to Maaqtusiis 72-58.
The 2018 Junior All-Native Basketball Tournament fielded 83 teams from British Columbian First Nation communities across four divisions, U17 Boys, U17 Girls, U13 Boys and U13 Girls.
