The Victoria Eagles have a busy week coming up in PBL Baseball. The squad hits the road Sunday, July 10 to take on the Whalley Chiefs in Surrey before returning home Tuesday, July 12 to play rivals the Victoria Mariners at Lambrick Park at 6 p.m.
The Eagles’ final weekend of regular season play is coming up Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17 when they host the Okanagan Athletics at Lamrick Park. Saturday games go at 3 and 5:30 p.m. with Sunday starts at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The Premier Victoria Mariners finish the season with eight straight road games after going head to head with the Victoria Eagles Tuesday.
The Junior Premier Eagles play their final five games of the regular season at home at Lambrick Park, hosting the Okanagan Athletics in two doubleheaders Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17. First pitches go at 3 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The JP Eagles’ final league game is Tuesday, July 19 against rival Victoria Mariners at 6 p.m. in what is certain to be a great way to end their regular season.
In local cricket play, Oak Bay takes on Metchosin July 16 with a noon start at Metchosin field. In mid-week league play, July 13 has the University team taking on the Stonewallers at 6 p.m. in Sidney.
In lacrosse action, following an away game against the Langley Thunder tonight, the Victoria Shamrocks next host the Coquitlam Adanacs on Friday, July 15 at 7:45 p.m. at the Q Centre.
In Intermediate Shamrocks play, the ‘Rocks host Burnaby at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 at the Q Centre.
The Victoria Senior B Wolves lacrosse play one home game this week, hosting the Valley Rebels at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10 at the Q Centre.
