A trio of Vernon Ski Club members reached the podium in the Okanagan Zone finals at Apex Resort near Penticton.
Racing in the Under 6 Boys division, Sean Robinson claimed a silver medal, while Rane Smith earned bronze in the U12 Girls group and Liam Glennon collected gold in the U12 Boys.
A total of 22 Vernon members competed in a field of nearly 250 athletes representing seven other clubs – Mt. Baldy, Crystal Mountain, Apex, Big White, Sun Peaks, Harper and Revelstoke.

Meanwhile, the Vernon club’s entry level program winds up today at Silver Star Mountain Resort with the final day of its fourth annual Kal Tire Roundup for skiers ages five to 12.
Non-club members are welcome to enter the event, including the Under the Hill Downhill and the Bucking Bronco Ski Cross. Entry includes hot dog lunches and a souvenir T-shirt.
