Preseason action at Bateman Field saw the Panthers win 27-5



The Abbotsford Panthers continued their undefeated run in preseason BC high school football action on Saturday with a 27-5 win over the Robert Bateman Timberwolves at Bateman Field.

Abbotsford was up 10-5 at the half, and then turned it on the second half to post the win.

The Panthers open the regular season on Friday when they host West Vancouver. Bateman also kicks off the season on Friday when they travel to Chilliwack to take on the G.W. Graham Grizzlies.

In other local high school football action, the W.J. Mouat Hawks fell 57-0 to the Terry Fox Ravens on Friday.
