Kole Lind scored twice and added a pair of assists to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 4-1 victory Saturday over the visiting Portland Winterhawks in WHL action Saturday at Prospera Place.
Lind, who notched his 21st and 22nd goals of the season, ended a 10-game scoring drought in helping the Rockets (27-17-4-0) end a three-game losing streak.
Tomas Soustal and Braydyn Chizen also scored for Kelowna, while Michael Herringer made 34 saves in the Rockets’ net for his 20th win of the season.
Missing from the Rockets lineup were forwards Reid Gardiner (upper body), Dillon Dube (illness) and Nolan Foote (illness).
Kelowna returns to action Friday when the Kamloops Blazers visit Prospera Place.
