Former international swimmer Brent Hayden paid a visit to Hope’s Dan Sharrers Aquatic Centre on Saturday to teach at the RiverMonsters Spring Swim Camp with his wife Nadina Zarifeh.
Together, the pair run Brent Hayden Swim Camps out of Vancouver.
Hayden said he fondly remembers Hope swim meets when he was a young swimmer, and that he was sad to hear when the club took its long hiatus.
