Barriere resident Barb Smith took part in the annual Wells Gray Birchleg cross-country ski event at Candle Creek trails in Clearwater last Saturday. The annual Birchleg attracts participants from many communities who turn up in interesting Viking costumes to ski the trail. The weather couldn’t have been better, with everyone enjoying the sunshine and the socializing.
